Getting to work with some awesome teams and be able to be apart of a portion of Design that really impacts the shoppers OVERALL satisfaction when shopping.
Needs someone who isn’t a new Sr.- someone looking to jump into a lead role in 1-2 years. Good amount of Sr. experience. Must be design system focused. Great communication ability to present to stakeholders.
-ability to demystify and take complexity and turn it into SIMPLICITY (a systems thinking we can distill is important)
-Must have END to END Design experience (horizontal and given the fulfillment) Find the item, filter, delivery and shipping, etc.
-Shows a knack or ability to communicate. Horizontally with discussions and be autonomous and share and PRESENT designs will be super important
-End to end and show work from beginning to the end // any projects that span--- Home Page to Cart and Check Out
-eCommerce experience is a must
-HM is open to seeing candidates from competitors, but totally open to people who aren’t in the direct competitor space, someone who at least has some background with companies at SCALE, not just small companies or agencies.
Interview Process:
1st round phone screening w/ hiring manager
2nd round panel interview w/ other members of the team or cross functional teams. This includes portfolio or case study review (designers, devs, etc)

The Customer Product team builds products to enhance the experience for millions of customers. You’ll leverage the best and latest tools to facilitate remote teams and work with teams who develop experiences that have changed the industry including the mobile app, online grocery experience, curbside, or Delivery Unlimited. As a Product Designer, you will help transform complex information and tasks into easy-to-use designs for our millions of customer and associates. To do this, you’ll need to think visually, using techniques like storyboards and sketching to communicate design concepts. You’ll use your deep knowledge of the UX process (research, conceptual design, prototyping, testing), in collaboration with other team members, to iterate multiple solutions and deliver pixel-perfect designs.

The ability to create something from nothing. Working through design discovery of reimagining the shopping experience. Come with solid design POVs to help drive the overall product direction.
Present the next generation of scheduling concept to Sr. Product and Design leadership and for approvals.
Collaborate with 4IB partners reach alignment on time with clarity on scope and timelines.
Co-define research goals and help share out qualitative insights with their research partner in order to help all stakeholders better understand customer needs and pain points.
Look through the competitive landscape on experience out there and identify the opportunities with directional recommendations.
Identify emerging UI/interaction patterns across the experience and create the experience’s shared components across multiple features.
Facilitate small/medium design workshops with cross-functional team stakeholders.
Be able to handle multi-tasking on 2-3 feature designs in parallel without compromising design quality.
Help review and up level x3 designer’s work by providing guidance and suggestions.
Deliver detailed design specs and ADA documentations.
