Growing Cattle Company producing champion stock located outside of Paris, Tennessee, including PBR Bucking Bulls, Rough Stock, Cows, and Calves across two working farms. We’re growing and are searching for a full-time, year-round Farm Operations Team Member to join us. 
 
We want someone who WANTS TO WIN, is highly motivated, a true leader, honest, and an out-of-the-box thinker who takes direction well and can bring new ideas to the table. You need to be able to handle a variety of vital tasks from working by yourself running day-to-day cattle operations, traveling and hauling livestock to/from events, and leading field operations with the team in this VERY hands-on role. You will focus on quality work, training, event coordination, business paperwork, solving in-the-moment problems, all the while maximizing time and resources.
 
During the winter you will focus on specialty carpentry projects, depending on your background, and business planning. Given our size, there is plenty of room for growth within the organization for the right motivated individual. 
 
This position does have peak hours during the summer months, including longer hours and some weekends, but sticks to a 40 hour and under work week. This is not your typical 9 to 5 role. We are a working farm so keep this in mind when applying, the hours will vary within the 40hr work week, and there is opportunity for overtime for the right candidate and hard working leader.
 
This position is for you if you:

  • Have experience in a relatable field, such as: animal husbandry, agriculture, farming, construction, etc.
  • Work well on your own, as well as in a team environment with the Farm Operations Manager & the Owner on the execution day-to-day operations and on-going projects.

 
Responsibilities include:

  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day caring for and monitoring animals, with a high focus on quality control in the fields, equipment maintenance and management, and ensure accurate collection of data in field.
  • Assist with staff with veterinary planning and care.
  • Adhere to safety standards and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in other areas of the operation, as needed
