Job description
The HFS Information Delivery team combines technical and business knowledge to support our internal and external clients. The partner will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and will be responsible for the analysis, planning, design, creation and maintenance of client reports using SQL, DAX, SSRS and other tools. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver that can work to resolve technical issues as well as business reporting issues. The candidate should have experience working with a BI development lifecycle as well as familiarity with standard methodologies and industry best practices.
Roles and Responsibilities: 
  • Partner with the shared service teams, IT and development teams to enhance existing reporting tools and data models as well as help solution for new and existing client reporting needs
  • Troubleshoot report and delivery issues to ensure timely and high quality client service
  • Provide support for ongoing application development, testing and releases and communicate changes to the user community
  • Provide analysis, scoping and estimated delivery timelines for larger scale client requests
  • Develop and enhance existing metrics for better insights into client reporting (e.g. via SQL)
  • Act as the subject matter expert on our various reporting solutions, answer questions and resolve issues when requested
  • Maintain up-to-date processes and procedure documents that govern and guide in the report management process
  • Create custom reports based on client specifications
  • Day to day support of client reporting requests. Frequent interaction with clients via email and phone
Qualifications: Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years professional experience (financial services preferred)
  • Curious, outside the box thinker
  • Team focused individual with a strong work ethic

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology
  • Knowledge of, and practical experience with specific tools or technologies used to perform job include (but are not limited to): SSRS, SSIS, SSMS, DAX, MS Office 365
  • Adaptive, flexible style - able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and meet on-going time sensitive deadlines 
  • Previous experience working in financial services desired
  • Strong knowledge of financial securities product data (i.e. transactions, holdings)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience reviewing and writing SQL queries in any implementation
  • Experience creating ad-hoc or recurring reporting in any reporting tool or suite for client consumption preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related experience required
  • Python and/or other experiences with coding languages a plus
