Job description
As a Technology Program/Project Manager within the Technology Services organization at this company, you will be driving large and complex multi-year initiatives that will help shape the future of our systems.  You will be working closely with engineers and developers across the Technology organization while overseeing  multiple projects that each align to a strategic direction.  In this role you will also collaborate with other leaders to organize, plan, communicate, and execute initiatives while staying on date and within budget. 
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and can be based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL; Alpharetta, GA; or Minneapolis, MN.
How does a Technology Program/Project Manager make an impact?
  • Creates, manages and executes project/program plans.
  • Builds strong working relationships with team members, vendors/contractors, business and ITS partners to aide in effective execution.
  • Ensures the establishment of scope and priorities, management of risks/issues/dependencies, implementation of solutions, and change management activities.
  • Ability to manage and track budget and budget variance.
Qualifications: Do you have what we're looking for?
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration and technical skills.
  • Experience in critical thinking and problem-solving skills, courage, and strong relationship building skills.
  • Has created and managed project backlogs and execution plans on large Technology projects.
  • Experience solving complex problems; demonstrating curiosity, comfort with uncertainty, creativity, critical thinking, taking initiative, and the ability to translate goals into strategic outcomes.
  • Ability to develop strategic roadmaps and business cases where needed; define and manage scope of work, perform stakeholder analysis, and manage analysis activities.
  • Experience presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Experience with Project Management, Agile methodology and/or capabilities based planning.
  • At least 10 years of project management experience and two years of lead experience of large programs and/or enterprise programs.
  • Typically requires bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of project management experience (or equivalent, such as 10 years of experience or master's degree and 6 years of experience) and 1 year lead experience.
