Are you analytical? Do you like working in a team, leading a team and building strong relationships? Do you have a curious mind? If so, you would fit right into the Derivative & Foreign Exchange (FX) Operations Balance & Account Management and Reporting team.

Right now, we are looking for someone smart to join the team. We focus on effective nostro balance management, account maintenance and provide support to key stakeholders. In addition the team also supports the set-up of Client settlement instruction and confirmation static. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be part of a growing and evolving business.

As a manager of the team, you will be able to apply critical thinking and an investigative mind set to review and remediate balance management issues. This role offers a high level of visibility as you will work with a number of other internal teams to provide seamless delivery and support to a range of stakeholders.  We’re a team with a small presence in the US but are part of a global team, with teams based in APAC and EMEA.What would your responsibilities include:
  • Leading the US Balance & Account Management, Client Account Set-up and Reporting team
  • Manage a team of 4 associates
  • Act as a senior point of escalation for the team
  • Work closely with the Global Head to implement the overall strategic plan and regional plans
  • Act as a conduit between FO and Operations regarding Balance & Account management queries/issues
  • Coordinating the management of large intraday fails, engaging the appropriate teams
  • Monitors and oversees reporting queries received from the Central banks related to voluntary reporting completed by the team
  • Production of risk indicators and other management information
  • Effective assessment and interpretation of changes to reporting requirements                                       
  • Liaison with our wider global team
  • Active involvement in global strategic Balance & Account Management initiatives
  • Lead the team to deliver a consistent governance process around the maintenance, opening, closing and nostro agent strategy of bank accounts
  • Work as part of a global Balance & Account Management team
  • Active involvement in strategic initiatives
  • Challenging the team’s processes and generating ideas to improve how we do things
